A single vertebra bone, 3D printed in sterling silver or stainless steel, hangs from an 18-inch chain. The specific vertebrae is (human) lumbar vertebrae # 3 – situated in the lower back in real life. Great care was taken to model and create it with anatomical accuracy (although it is just a fraction of real life size!), and to show off all the interesting and unique bony structures on this piece of the spine.
